Find Your Groove: Clay Carving Techniques

In this class, we will explore various carving techniques for clay and explore different styles from deeper cuts to more delicate textures. We will include low relief carving and sgrafitto, mishima, etc. depending on student interest. Students will have the opportunity to try out multiple tools. Best for intermediate level students who are able to make a piece to carve – either on the wheel or by hand building. Clay and glazes will be provided. Students must be 18 years of age or older.
