Ceramic Sculpture

Clay has the unique ability to transform into most anything an artist desires. In this class students will learn numerous sculpting techniques to help them create their own interpretations of chosen objects, explore shape and form, and consider texture and surface. Tuition includes clay, glazes and firings. Students should have a working knowledge of various ceramic handbuilding techniques and some wheelthrowing experience is preferred. This class is perfect for students who have taken Intro to Ceramics and/or Handbuilding and are ready to challenge themselves.
