Ceramic Soup Bowls

There’s nothing better than enjoying a warm bowl of soup in a handmade bowl crafted by you! In this fun and beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn how to create a functional ceramic soup bowl using the pinch pot technique. Participants will shape and refine their bowl before learning how to properly attach one or two handles using traditional slipping and scoring methods. Once the bowl is constructed, students will have the opportunity to make their piece uniquely their own by adding textures, patterns, and decorative details. A variety of underglaze colors will be available to personalize your bowl with designs that match your style and creativity.
