Ceramic Holiday Lanterns

Create a beautiful ceramic holiday lantern that will bring a warm, festive glow to your home throughout the season! In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the pinch pot technique to form the body of their lantern and use proper slipping and scoring methods to attach decorative elements and build their unique design. Participants will personalize their lantern by carving and cutting holiday-themed shapes such as snowflakes, stars, trees, or other seasonal motifs. Once fired, openings will allow candlelight or tea light to shine through, casting holiday patterns onto nearby walls and surfaces.
