Handbuilding Mugs

In this 4-week handbuilding workshop, students will learn how to achieve a mug form without using a potter’s wheel. Each class will explore a different technique, including kurinuki, slab, and coil/pinch. In the last class, students will learn techniques to decorate and glaze their work. Pieces can be picked up at a later date after completion of the course to allow time for firing. All mugs created will be food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.
