Intro to Ceramics
Clay is one of the most versatile mediums and this overview class offers the chance to try it all! Students will learn the basics of wheelthrowing, as well as experiment with a variety of handbuilding techniques. Functional and sculptural pieces will be created, with focused instruction on surface decoration and glazing. Tuition includes 25 lbs of clay, glazes and firings.
