Dream Illustration Workshop

Ever wonder what your dreams are trying to tell you? Our art often communicates things in ways that words cannot, and its creation can open the gateway to our unconscious mind. Bring a playful spirit to this workshop as we explore dreams and their symbols, both universal and personal, by illustrating ours in color. We will discuss the teachings of Carl Jung, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, and Jeremy Taylor, and the use of art as a conduit to dreamwork. The goal of this workshop is not for me to simply interpret dreams for you; rather, it’s to facilitate, through art-making, discussion, sharing, and self-reflection, the ability to analyze and interpret your own dreams. The benefits of this skill allow us to not only better understand ourselves, but to realize our connection to nature and each other, not only by shared creative process, but the shared symbols and archetypes that are present in cultures throughout the world.
