Drawing

Intermediate Drawing

Take your drawing practice to the next level through focused study and continued exploration of observational drawing techniques. Working with graphite, charcoal, and ink, students will strengthen their understanding of value, composition, proportion, and form while refining their technical skills. Through a series of structured projects and exercises, participants will further develop their ability to translate observation into compelling drawings. Emphasis will be placed on the effective use of value scales, viewfinders, and advanced mark-making strategies to create dynamic compositions. Students will be encouraged to build confidence in their decision-making and develop a more personal approach to drawing. Some prior drawing experience is recommended.

All students must be 18 year of age or older.
