Laina Seraphine

Laina is an artist and educator originally from Fort Myers, Florida, now based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Laina graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art, specializing in printmaking and contemplative practices. Their work focuses on what it means to be alive, speaking to others on a level that words cannot. Filling each piece with symbolism, strategically left open to interpretation, their goal is for viewers to connect with the story each piece holds. Their work has been displayed in various galleries, one in which they won a jurors award for their piece “Ammunition.” Their goal is to create a space that feels safe for artists to make mistakes, have fun, and develop connections with themselves and the world around them.
