Intro to Monotypes
Explore the freedom and creativity of monotypes in this printmaking course! You will learn how to start from a sketch, blank canvas, or image straight from your imagination, and transform it into a print. You will use various tools to explore the fluidity of ink and create images. Find yourself immersed in a process that allows you to start again as many times as you’d like, but ends in one unique result. Learn how to place plates and pull prints. Discover how to use materials on top of printed monotypes to add color and emphasis.
