Illustrative CMYK Screenprinting
In this course, we’ll explore turning illustrations into CMYK screenprints, a printing technique using four color printing processes (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) to create vibrant screenprints. Students should bring a line drawing or full-color illustration they’d like to turn into a print. Students will use photoshop to separate their illustrations into four layers for printing. We will discuss an overview of the CMYK process and study examples. Each student will leave with an edition of 10 prints of their illustration. Previous screenprinting experience required.
