Medium Checkerboard Spring Basket

In this one-day workshop students will learn how to work with flat materials, incorporate a wooden handle, and use traditional plaiting techniques to weave a versatile 7-inch rectangular handled basket with a full checkerboard pattern and hand-dyed reed accents.  Students will leave class with a completed basket perfect for Spring, Easter, or as a Mother’s Day gift. Materials fee of $15 can be paid to the instructor on the day of class.
