Intro to Wheelthrowing II
Expand your knowledge of wheelthrown ceramics in this class for students who’ve taken at least one Intro to Ceramics class. This class is designed to be a supportive environment to those still new to wheelthrowing, while expanding students’ knowledge of techniques such as lid-making, handle-pulling, and trimming. Experiment with surface design and textures and use glazes to create enduring stoneware pieces. Tuition includes 25 lbs of clay, glazes and firings. Students must have prior experience throwing on the wheel, including centering and pulling basic forms.
