Stamped Rings Workshop

Discover the art of metalsmithing in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners! Students will create their own custom stamped ring while learning foundational jewelry-making techniques. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the history of metalsmithing and essential studio safety before diving into the process. Participants will size and cut their ring bands, explore stamping methods to add personalized designs or text, and learn the basics of soldering and shaping metal on a mandrel. To finish, students will refine their rings with sanding, polishing, and optional patina for a unique touch. By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind ring they designed themselves—and the confidence of having learned the fundamentals of metalsmithing.
