Intro to Metals

Students will learn the fundamentals of metalsmithing and jewelry-making in this project-based course. Projects will focus on a variety of techniques, introducing students to basic forming and construction techniques as well as sawing, stone setting, annealing and soldering. To finish projects, we will experiment with surface design techniques such as enameling and etching as students create bracelets, rings, pendants, earrings, and brooches.

All students must be 18 years of age or older.
