Rigid Heddle Weaving

Learning how to weave on a rigid-heddle loom is easier than you think. A rigid heddle loom uses 2-harnesses and allows you to weave light work, such as placemats, dishtowels, scarves, shawls or fabric for clothing. This class will teach you the basic of designing your project, choosing the right yarn, warping (placing the yarn on the loom) and weaving. The goal is for students to finish two projects in the six week course. Looms are provided and a materials fee of $40 is payable to the instructor at the first class.

Students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.

Sorry, but there are no available courses being offered this semester.
