Felted Abstract Paintings with Wool and Silk

In this workshop, students will learn a felting technique known as nuno felting. We will incorporate pre-dyed pieces of silk organza into felted textiles using only warm, soapy water and our hands to create colorful abstract 9″x12″ “paintings”. This technique can provide a lot of room for creativity, and each piece will be unique to the student’s color preferences and design choices.
