Printmaking

Monotypes: En Plein Air

Art doesn’t have to be restricted to an indoor studio. Step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and learn how to mimic nature on a monotype plate. Students will use various tools with ink to create a gestural representation of what they see outdoors. Learn how to place plates and pull prints. Students will be shown how to use watercolor paints on top of their printed monotypes to add color and emphasis.
