Linocut Printmaking

Relief prints are one of the most versatile and accessible forms of printmaking. Linocuts are a form of printmaking using linoleum sheets as a relief surface. This class will focus on cutting linoleum and printing relief prints using printing by hand and press techniques. Paper choices, color mixing, and printing on fabric will be covered. The class will also introduce students to historical and contemporary relief art, and how this process can be successful in a home studio. All levels welcome!
