Botanical Screenprinting

In this class, students will create screenprinted images using found botanical material gathers from the grounds of PCA&M, as well as other materials such as netting, feathers, and other textural items. Students will learn how to coat and expose screens with the found materials, basic color theory and ink mixing, image composition, and how to pull prints. Final projects will be 2-3 layer screenprints using plant-based imagery as the foundation. This short class is great for students who have taken Intro to Screenprinting with us in the past, or who have basic screen printing experience.
