It’s for the Birds: Ceramic Birdhouses

Bird lovers and bird watchers, come create unique, handmade ceramics homes with Melissa Sullivan! In this class, students will learn and utilize a variety of handbuilding techniques to create two different types of ceramic birdhouses: a hanging, tree-mounted house and one bird feeder. These creations will be fully functional and hopefully will attract many avian friends to your yard. All work will be fired to a temperature to withstand the outdoor elements so they can be enjoyed for years to come. This class is designed for all levels, so whether you are new to clay or specifically interested in building specific forms, this class is for you! All clay and glazes will be provided.
