Dynamic Abstraction through Paint

Explore the exciting possibilities of abstract painting through layering, mark-making, and creative experimentation. In this course, students will learn how to build dynamic compositions using acrylic paint along with a variety of water-based media and monotype techniques. Through demonstrations and guided exercises, participants will discover different approaches to paint application, texture, and surface development. The class will explore both direct and indirect painting methods, encouraging students to take risks and develop their own visual language. Emphasis will be placed on process, discovery, and finding new ways to create energetic and engaging artwork. Artists of all experience levels are welcome.
