Electroformed Wire Sculptures

Electroforming is a process where metal is deposited onto a conductive surface using an electrical current. In this workshop, we will be using this process to create abstract wire sculptures to display in your home! Students will create their sculpture forms out of wire, bending and twisting into their desired shapes. From there, we will continue into the electroforming process to deposit metal onto our base forms to create one-of-a kind sculptures. This workshop is designed to be beginner friendly, so whether you are new to metalsmithing or a current student looking to explore this exciting process, this workshop is perfect for you!
