Landscape painting allows me and my students to tell our story, illuminate our surroundings and explore the natural world. Building confidence in students, so that they feel free to fully express their individualism through visual art is what most excites me about being a Teaching Artist. Whether working on a collaborative mural or an individual project, landscape painting lends itself for integrating lessons with math, history, science, and English language.
