Margaret Taylor

Margaret Taylor began weaving in the 1970’s. She has taken courses at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Media (PCA&M) and has continued to develop her weaving skills with courses at the Redstone Glen, Fiber Arts Center, in York Haven, PA under the direction of Sarah Bixler and Tom Knisely.  In recent years she has assisted Deb Meteney, instructor of the Advanced Weaving Class at PCA & M and led the class when Deb was on a leave of absence.  Her expertise is in explaining the fundamentals of weaving while instilling enthusiasm and confidence in new weavers. Her creative interests extend to gardening.  She lives in Fox Chapel, PA with her husband and two cats.
