Kate Duncan

Kate Shea Duncan is a queer, disabled educator and artist working out of Pittsburgh, PA. Originally from Granville, OH, she received her BFA in Theatre Production from Point Park University. Previously, she has worked as an educator around Pittsburgh, in spaces including Pittsburgh Glass Center and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Additionally, she works as a part of the steering committee for Pittsburgh Fatties, a group that organizes events and coordinates mutual aid for the fat communities of Western PA. Her artistic practice currently focuses on a mix of media styles, including oil painting, fiber arts, and bookbinding.
