Frances Metcalf

Frances (she/her)a printmaker and encaustic painter, is also an ordained priest in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh. She is an artist member of Radiant Hall, home of her McKees Rocks studio. Before moving to Pittsburgh, Frances held membership in Artists Undertaking, a cooperative art gallery in Virginia, as well as the Art League of Alexandria. From 2007-09 she participated as a juried member of the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center. Prior to her ordination, she was a professional fundraiser specializing in start-up membership programs for cultural institutions including the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, The Marine Corps Museum, and the Japanese American National Museum, among others. Rev. Metcalf holds a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit communication from George Mason University and a Masters of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry. She and her husband live in McDonald, and are dedicated foodies.
