“What excites me most about being a Teaching Artist is witnessing the transformative impact on students when they discover the power of playing just a few notes. It’s incredible to see how their voices come alive through song creation and songwriting. The joy on a student’s face when they hear their own voice on a recording of their original work is priceless. Experiencing this at every site I visit and teach at is immensely rewarding.”
