The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and relationship-focused Member and Donor Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued members and donors, ensuring they feel appreciated, informed, and connected to our mission. You will collaborate with the specific teams and/or persons that underpin our development efforts, ensuring smooth operations for membership programs and fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management & Stewardship: Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective members and donors. Implement comprehensive stewardship plans, including personalized thank-you processes, benefit fulfillment, and timely communications.
  • Database Management & Data Entry: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our donor database. Ensure all donations, membership dues, contact information, and interactions are recorded meticulously.
  • Membership Program Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of the membership program (general memberships and studio access memberships) from recruitment and renewal campaigns to member benefit delivery and events.
  • Fundraising Support: Assist the Executive Director, Development, and Creative teams with annual fund drives, special events, and grant reporting by generating mailing lists, preparing reports, and tracking progress toward goals.
  • Communication & Marketing Support: Coordinate the production of membership newsletters, appeals, and collateral materials, working closely with the marketing manager to ensure messaging is consistent and engaging.
  • Event Coordination: Provide logistical support for donor and member cultivation events, galas, and recognition activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role within a nonprofit development, fundraising, or membership department is strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in donor management software/CRM is essential.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to diverse constituents.
  • Attributes: Highly organized, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, and a genuine passion for the arts and nonprofit sector.

Compensation

$22/hr – 3 days per week, 8~ hours a day, Hybrid position
