Finance Intern
PCA&M seeks a finance intern to support development of financial and accounting practices.
The role involves grant reporting, financial system development, audit participation, and financial statement analysis.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in non-profit financial management, including
grant/donation cash flow, program scheduling, and board-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participation in 2024 audit (timing dependent)
- Grant financial reporting
- System QA and development
- Financial statement and departmental reporting
- Accounting and archival tasks
- Various adhoc requests
This opportunity provides essential training in finance fundamentals and management practices within a dynamic, arts-focused non-profit environment, fostering both technical and leadership development for
future career growth. The position offers hands-on experience in non-profit financial management, including cash flow for grants, donations, classes, and fiscal sponsorship.
The right candidate will financially support PCA&M’s multi-business operations while gaining skills in financial systems, team
scheduling, and data management. They will participate in audits, analysis, and financial statement preparation.
Qualifications:
- Accounting/financial analysis experience
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Relevant business experience
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and data management preferred
