Opening Reception: “City Limits: Process, Observations & Explorations” work by Marcè Nixon Washington
Join us for the opening reception of PCA&M’s 2023-24 ceramic artist in residence, Marcè Nixon-Washington’s exhibition “City Limits: Process, Observations & Explorations”.
“Come on a journey with me as I revisit my travels around the world and unpack the impact it has had on my work.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by orange crates and skyscrapers, layered with the sounds of PAT buses and Steelers Fans. Traveling outside the City Limits has helped me see the beauty in the city. I welcome you to peek into my creative process as I make different observations and explore new mediums.”
