Now Showing: I’m Fine.

I’m fine., a phrase we often say when we are not fine, is a statewide community project dedicated to sculpting mental health awareness, conversations and support through art.

Initiated by co-curators Carrie Breschi and Maureen Joyce in 2019, I’m fine. consists of a series of workshops where participants create ceramic masks that represent the outward “mask” each wears to portray, hide or minimize their emotions and mental health challenges. I’m fine. workshops have made over 1,300 masks so far.

Public art installations and gallery exhibits, like this one, showcase the amazing masks and meaningful stories of the participants.
