Sketchbooking Stories Workshop

Beginning with a memory, create personal symbols that will become reoccurring motifs throughout a small sketchbook. This motif will create some unity as your story (real or imagined) unfolds on the pages. A series of prompts will unlock your potential in telling your story, helping you explore fantasy, surrealism, realism or cartoon. Color may be introduced during the second workshop as well as patterned end pages full of your symbols. The fun of this project is you can hide the meaning of the sketchbook for only you or shout it out loud, walking away with a one of a kind book created by you!
