Self-Guided Metals is a studio-based course designed for intermediate to advanced metalsmithing students who wish to work on self-directed projects in a supportive and collaborative environment. This course provides access to a fully equipped metalsmithing studio during designated hours, allowing students to explore their individual creative goals while receiving technical guidance and support. Please note this class will not feature set projects or demonstrations. Participants will benefit from individualized feedback, peer collaboration, and access to specialized tools and resources within the studio. By the end of the semester, students will have completed self-directed projects that reflect their personal style and technical growth. Whether creating intricate jewelry pieces or exploring small sculptural forms, Self-Guided Metals offers the perfect balance of autonomy and support for experienced metalsmiths.
