Retune Your Ears

In this course we’ll learn to make better audio work through listening to a palette of documentaries, audio art and soundscapes. We’ll talk about approaches to interviewing, recording techniques, sound design, story structure by dissecting work we’ll listen to each week. Along the way we’ll do some recording projects and listening exercises to re-engage and re-inspire your ears. This class will take place online, via Zoom.

No recorders needed, just a smartphone and some headphones. Students are encouraged to bring works in progress.
