Puki Birdhouses

Join Melissa Sullivan for this 6-week handbuilding class focused on creating birdhouses for outdoor use. Students will expand their handbuilding skills while creating two birdhouses using puki molds, which help keep the bottom of a piece rounded while working. The birdhouses will be fully functional, not just decorative. During the last class, students will discuss glazing and surface design options to finish their pieces before kiln firing. Tuition includes clay, tools, and glazes.
