Painting Flowers in Watercolor

Learn the basics of watercolor while sitting and painting outdoors in the garden and park! We’ll work with flowers directly from life, but photos and sketches are fine, too. You’ll learn a variety of techniques specific to flower painting using the beautiful gardens at PCA&M’s Mellon Park campus, weather permitting, or bouquets and cut flowers from your own garden. We’ll work with composition, backgrounds, color mixing and blending, shading, and detailing, as well.

All students must be 18 years of age or older.
