Mushroom Workshop

Join ceramic sculptural artist Kara Zuzu for this mushroom making workshop! During this 4-week course, students will spend two days learning basic hand building skills, allowing students to create their own one of a kind mushroom(s). Students will be encouraged to let their imagination be their guide in creating expressive and whimsical mushroom characters. The third class will be dedicated to glazing our mushrooms. Students will then return their mushrooms to PCA for firing. During the fourth and final class, Kara will review some post-firing cool finish techniques as well as a virtual gallery show of everyone’s work. This class will be held online, via Zoom. Class will not meet October 22, 2020.
