Low Light Photography

In this course we’ll explore photographing subjects in low light from portraits to the night sky. Experiment with long exposure, painting with light, and slow synch flash. Learn how long exposures and artificial lighting can expand your photographic possibilities. Photo sessions will take place during class and on location at various local sites ideal for night photography. Students are responsible for transportation. This is a film photography course, students will shoot, process, and print or scan their negatives. Additional film and photo paper are recommended for students to purchase. Students must bring their own analog camera.
