Landscape Oil Painting

This advanced course will focus on painting the landscape, building skill and confidence in accurately translating color, form, space, and light. We will work both from photographs and directly from life, applying the ideas of simplification of form into shapes of light and shadow as well as compositional structure. We will refine our ability to see the entirety of a space at once and then take this one step further as we deal with the notion that a certain type of light has very a particular color.

All students must be 18 years of age or older.
