Landscape Oil Painting

This course will focus on painting the landscape, building skill and confidence in accurately translating color, form, space, and light. We will work from photographs and explore mixing colors for the landscape, as well as using aerial and linear perspective to show distance and dimensionality. We will also discuss what makes a good composition. This course is designed for painters of all levels, but it is recommended that you’ve taken an oil painting course previously, or have prior experience working with oil paints.

All students must be 18 years of age or older.
