Intro to Music Production

Learn the ins and outs of music production in this eight-week course! Instructor JC Carter with give a concise history of popular music production with listening examples and discussions to develop students’ knowledge prior to diving into the nitty-gritty. From there, students will learn how to compose and produce an original song. This class is 50% appreciation and 50% studio, and prior music experience is recommended, though not required. Students will need to have a willingness to compose a song and have it be heard.
