Online: Intro to Creative Writing

Want to express yourself creatively, but not sure where to start? Join this survey course of different genres and modes of writing! We will delve deep into contemporary genres of writing, including poetry, nonfiction, fiction, graphic storytelling, and more. Students will be guided in selecting avenues of expression that best suit what they are writing about. We will have prompted creative writing time in each session, and discuss the work of contemporary authors. Students may volunteer creative work to be discussed constructively in a workshop format. Join us to find your writing voice!

This class will be held online, via Zoom. All students must be 18 years of age or older.
