Fundamentals of Fiction Craft: Conflict, Tension, and Resolution

In this beginning course, we will look at the heart of plot, character motivations, and the real energy that compels our readers through page after page of our work: conflict. In doing so, we’ll examine the subtle push and pull generated between the work and the reader as tension ebbs and recedes, how best to amplify those factors, and importantly, how we can effectively arrive at a resolution that’s artful and satisfying.
