Foundations of Darkroom Photography

Ever wonder how film photos are processed and printed? Want to learn how to take artful photos with a 35mm camera? In this camp, we will focus on the techniques and skills necessary to shoot black and white photos on 35mm film, from composition to printing. Once we have our rolls of film with photos ready to develop, we’ll spend time in the darkroom processing the film, enlarging our photos, and printing our works of art. Students will leave with the foundational skills necessary to not only work in the darkroom, but also photo composition skills that translate from analog to digital.
