Start off with experimenting with air-dry and paper clays to design pieces built to withstand the heat of a kiln. Sketch and build prototypes of ideas through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Personalize projects with glazes before they’re fired in the kiln. (Due to the drying and firing time needed to complete a ceramic piece, artworks may need to be picked up at a later date).
