Botanical Drawing

Improve your abilities to draw plant life and natural landscapes while gaining basic botany and flora knowledge. In this class, students will be introduced to a variety of drawing experiences involving flowers, trees, landscapes, and more while working with materials like pencil, colored pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. We will also discuss flower and tree symbolism and the conceptual aspects of planning a carefully-observed composition from life. Previous drawing class experience is recommended.

Students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.
