Ceramic Studio Internship
PCA&M offers an internship program for college students and recent graduates. Our program operates on a three pronged approach. Interns spend equal amounts of time helping with studio maintenance, learning studio practices from our coordinator and developing their own work. Interns may have opportunities to help educate children at our summer camps or assist with adult classes as needed. Interns can commit anywhere from 10- 40 hours per week for up to 2 years.
Applicants should send a resume, cover letter, and 10 images of their work to Ceramics coordinator Audra Clayton at email@example.com. Cover letters (500 words or less) should share what studio skills interns hope to learn during the internship and what they plan to work on as an artist.
Interns are accepted on a rotating basis based on studio needs.
College students on summer break are encouraged to apply.
The PCA&M ceramics coordinator is able to work with local universities for interns to gain college credits.
