Online: Visual Storytelling

In this class, we will examine various elements that constitute the moving image, including composition, camera movement, color, light and shadow, set decoration/location, editing/duration, performance strategies/blocking, sound design and music. This course will be an exploration of the myriad of ways in which you can enhance your story through the selective emphasis on those elements. We recommend this class for students who have completed any of our screenwriting classes, who are interested in learning the next steps in the filmmaking process. This class will meet online, via Zoom.
