Intermediate Painting

The topics covered in this intermediate painting class will be determined by students’ proficiency and interests. We’ll work from still-life in order to refine your observations and technical skills, and then move on to student-led projects. Feel free to bring in your own ideas and reference images. We’ll discuss the process of bringing a painting from concept to completion, including creating an engaging composition, and clarifying your color palette. We will also be conducting group critiques together. Oil or acrylic paints are welcome.

All students must be 18 years of age or older.
